Doha, Qatar: The Spanish national team will take on Egypt on March 30 in an international friendly to be played in Qatar, stated the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in a press release.
The match will kick off at 8pm, Doha time, at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. It will take place three days after Spain face Argentina in the Finalissima, which will also be held in Qatar, at the Lusail Stadium.
The only previous meeting between the two national teams dates back to June 3, 2006, when they faced each other at the Martínez Valero Stadium in Elche. On that occasion, Spain secured a 2–0 victory thanks to goals from Raúl and Reyes.
