DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 31.16 points or 0.35 percent to 8,792.84 points from the previous closing of 8,824.00 points.
The volume of shares traded fell to 7,390,989 from 8,199,685 Wednesday, and the value of shares increased to QR448,028,794.43 from QR425,407,438.46 Wednesday.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 2.54 percent to QR168.60, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 0.65 percent to QR77.00, Al Kaleej Takaful fell 1.43 percent to QR44.80 and Islamic Holding down 1.36 percent to QR32.55.
Today the Qatar Insurance sector added 0.79 points while the Qatar industrial sector dropped 1.44 points and the Services sector fell 0.36 points. (QNA)
