Hassan Al Thawadi, Secretary General, Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy
His appointment in March 2011 as Secretary General follows on from his role as CEO in Qatar’s 2022 Bid Committee. A graduate in Law from Sheffield University, Hassan is also General Counsel at Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and Qatar Holding. Prior to joining QIA in 2006, Hassan worked for Qatar Petroleum. Hassan also holds board positions with Hassad Food Company. He is also a board member at Katara Hospitality.
