Copenhagen---Two suspected assailants escaped by car after opening fire on a cultural centre in Copenhagen Saturday where a debate on free speech and Islam was being held, police said.
At least one person was killed and three police officers were wounded in the attack. The French ambassador and the author of controversial Prophet Mohammed cartoons were among those who attended the event but were not hurt.
