Abu Dhabi: A UAE economic and commercial delegation is set to travel to Sweden tomorrow for a three-day visit, during which opportunities of bilateral cooperation will be explored.
Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, who heads the delegation, said the visit provides an opportunity to enhance economic and investment cooperation, increase trade with Sweden, and highlight the UAE as an attractive environment for foreign investments, state news agency WAM reported.
He added that the visit will also bolster links between the business communities of both countries and see them discuss cooperation aspects in manufacturing, tourism, transport, knowledge and innovation.
Trade between the UAE and Sweden surged by 19 percent from $609m in 2010 to $725 in 2011.
