DOHA: The ownership of foreign investors in Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) has been limited to 25 percent of the total shares of the Bank, Qatar Exchange announced yesterday.
A statement issued by the bourse said the Qatar Central Securities Depository has amended its system in compliance with the decision of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce based on a resolution adopted at the EGM of CBQ to amend the relevant article regarding the foreign ownership limit.
