Saudi man gets 13 years for terrorism

The Special Criminal Court here has jailed a Saudi man for 13 years for funding terrorist groups, attempting to travel to conflict zones abroad and breaking the country’s cyber laws.
The preliminary sentence includes a travel ban for a further three years. The court found him guilty of converting riyals into euros and purchasing a ticket for man currently in detention to travel to conflict zones.
The court also found that he had accessed banned websites and stored information from them on his computer. In addition, he had formed relationships with people who have extremist views.
