DOHA: Qatari artist Iman Abdullah Al Haidoos will launch her solo exhibition ‘Message to a man’ today at Katara Building 19.
The expo until the end of this month includes 23 paintings she has created to express her feelings derived from her experience, asserting that women are able to challenge and achieve success as long as heartened with faith in God, endurance and hope.
Al Haidoos is one of the most talented Qataris artists with a vast experience in painting.
She has participated in art exhibitions and events in Qatar such as ‘Jerusalem in the eyes of Qatar’ at Qatar National Theatre in 2009 and the Qatari ladies exhibition at the Doha Capital of Culture festival in 2010, in addition to her contributions in the UNCTAD conference in Education City, the Qatar Marine Festival and Halal Hal Qatar Festival in Katara.
She has also presented her artworks at international art events, including the Heritage Village Festival in Sharjah, the Ostraca Festival in Turkey, the Sharm el-Sheikh Symposium in Egypt and Bahrain exhibition. She also had a five-metre mural painting displayed in Vienna, Austria. The Peninsula
