The CBSE-i wing of Doha Modern Indian School (DMIS) organised a ‘Mango Day’ celebration with variety of mango items recently. The students brought different types of mangoes and displayed them with details such as names, seasons, the countries where they are available and the qualities. As many as 25 varieties of mangoes were displayed. The Alphonso, Badami, Kesar, Sindhoora, Dhaseri, Neelam, Chaunsa , Kalpadi, Malgova, Totapuri and Rose Mary were some of the varieties on diaplay. Some rare ones like Francis, Ataulfos, Sudan mango, Philippines sweet & sour, Rajapuri and Brazil were also displayed. Students also presented mango jelly, mango juice, mango cake and mango toffees.
