Pakistan Welfare Forum (PWF) medical committee organised a blood donation camp in association with the blood donation unit of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) at The Next Generation School (TNG) Nuaija Campus recently.
Dr Ibrahim Al Hijji, Sr Consultant and Head of Clinical Hematology Section/Stem Cell Unit Medical Oncology Department, HMC, inaugurated the event in the presence of PWF steering and medical cCommittee members. Rashid Nizam, CWA at Pakistan Embassy, said: “We will continue to support this campaign and I am delighted to represent Pakistan Embassy at this important humanitarian event. It demonstrates the awareness exhibited by Pakistani community towards their social responsibilities.”
PWF President Riyaz Ahmed Baqali said: “We are committed to serving the community in every way possible and giving blood illustrates another area where we can provide support.”
