Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 94.53 points (+1.04%) when the bourse closed trading at 9,189.98 points Wednesday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 16,321,373 from 13,606,099 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased QR349,944,242.41 from QR268,938,605.52 on Tuesday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 42 saw trading today. From these 31 gained and eight companies closed lower today, remained three unchanged. Indices of all sectors ended green zone today.
QSE Total Return Index gained +1.04% to 15,411.05 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index increased +1.17% to 3,655.08 points and QSE All Share Index topped +1.60% to 2,618.58 points.
