Doha, Qatar: Qatar Museums (QM) has been honoured with six prestigious awards at the International Sustainability Awards 2026, organised by Awards International, reflecting its commitment to environmental stewardship, social impact and operational excellence across its institutions and initiatives.
The awards were presented during an online ceremony on June 11, 2026, bringing together leading organisations from around the world to celebrate outstanding achievements in sustainability. Following a rigorous two-stage evaluation process, QM received six awards across four award categories including:
Best Sustainability Team of the Year – Gold | Qatar Museums
Best Social Impact – Gold | Qatar Museums
Sustainability Professional of the Year – Silver | Engineer Fahad Al Mana, Director of Project Management Office and Facilities Management Department
Best Green Building – Silver | National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ)
Best Green Building – Silver | Fire Station
Best Green Building – Bronze | Museum of Islamic Art (MIA)
