Doha: The Supreme Education Council (SEC) plans to take stern action against eight schools that were found violating rules and regulations set by the Council.
Licenses of some of the schools are also expected to be cancelled, according to an Arabic daily. A committee of officials from the education sector held a meeting here on Wednesday and discussed the schools whose licences are to be cancelled and those that will be issued warnings.
A report on the issue has been submitted to the Ministry of Education for approval by the committee.
The schools will be notified officially after approval by the Ministry, whereby details of the violations will also be released. The Peninsula
