Doha: Ooredoo’s Alrabaa brought #DaysOfJoy to children during Garangao by distributing goody bags and inviting the community to join in with the rich cultural heritage that comes with the day.
The Alrabaa provided nuts and sweets to children and their families and encouraged everyone at Souq Waqif to sing the traditional Garangao song together.
Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director Community and Public Relations, said, “The Alrabaa have enabled us to connect to the community during Garangao. Children and adults love the group and by spreading joy and laughter we hope to encourage everyone to join with their communities this Ramadan.” The Alrabaa have been carrying out random acts of kindness across the city. As part of its campaign for the holy month, Ooredoo has launched an Alrabaa website - http://alrabaa.ooredoo.qa, where people can track the locations and activities of the group.
The Alrabaa, a group of friends who embody traditions of Qatar, have been popping up across Doha bringing kindness and joy with their box full of surprises.
Customers can keep up to date with the Ramadan campaign via www.ooredoo.qa, Ooredoo’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page, or follow the hashtag #DaysOfJoy.
