Beema’s first half net profit touches QR32m

DOHA: Damaan Islamic Insurance Company (Beema) has recorded a net profit of QR32m for the first half of 2015 (H1, 2015).
The results were announced after Beema’s Board of Directors’ meeting on June 30, 2015. 
Beema’s Chairman Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, chaired the meeting.
Addressing the meeting Sheikh Jassim said the 
company has achieved a gross contribution of QR172m in the first half of the current 
year, up 21 percent compared to the corresponding period 
of 2014. 
Sheikh Jassim also announced that the company recorded a surplus of QR9m from insurance operations in the first half of the current year, a 14 percent increase compared with the same period in 2014.
Sheikh Jassim expressed hope that the company will continue its stellar performance throughout the current year.The Peninsula
