5 tips to protect yourself against electronic fraud while travelling: MOI

Doha, Qatar: Ministry of Interior issues advisory for travellers to stay protected while travelling. 

In its Travel Fraud Awareness, it listed five tips that travellers should take care of: 

- Avoid using ATMs in open, high-traffic areas. Instead opt for ATMS that are inside bank branches. 
- Store documents and personal devices in secure locations. 
- Book accommodation, tours and transport through reputable websites agencies to avoid scams. 
- Avoid scanning unknown QR codes 
- Use secure, private Wi-Fi networks.
