London: Italy's Jannik Sinner has extended his lead at the top of the ATP World Rankings, released today, after clinching his first-ever Wimbledon title - the third Grand Slam tournament of the year.

Sinner secured the prestigious title on Sunday with a commanding performance against world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, defeating him in four sets to widen the points gap between them.

Meanwhile, American Taylor Fritz, who reached the semifinals before falling to Alcaraz, moved up to fourth place in the rankings, overtaking Britain's Jack Draper, who slipped to fifth. Fellow American Ben Shelton climbed one spot to ninth, while Russia's Andrey Rublev returned to the top 10, jumping four places.

In contrast, Russian star Daniil Medvedev dropped out of the top 10 following an early first-round exit at Wimbledon. He fell five spots to 14th place.
The updated ATP Top 10 standings new features Jannik Sinner (Italy) - 12,030 points followed by Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) - 8,600 points; Alexander Zverev (Germany) - 6,310 points' Taylor Fritz (USA) - 5,035 points; Jack Draper (UK) - 4,650 points; Novak Djokovic (Serbia) - 4,130 points; Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) - 3,350 points; Holger Rune (Denmark) - 3,340 points; Ben Shelton (USA) - 3,330 points; and Andrey Rublev (Russia) - 3,110 points.

In the women's rankings, Poland's Iga Swiatek has rejoined the top three in the WTA standings after capturing her first Wimbledon title.

Swiatek moved up one position to third following her historic triumph, now trailing only Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, who holds the top spot, and American Coco Gauff in second.

Wimbledon runner-up Amanda Anisimova of the United States made a notable leap, climbing five spots to reach No. 7, marking her debut in the WTA Top 10.
Other notable changes include Jessica Pegula dropping to fourth, while rising Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva advanced two places to fifth.

Italy's Jasmine Paolini fell four spots to ninth, and Spain's Paula Badosa slipped to tenth. American Emma Navarro exited the Top 10 and now ranks 11th.

The updated WTA Top 10 standings are now led by Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) - 12,420 points, followed by Coco Gauff (USA) - 7,669 points; Iga Swiatek (Poland) - 6,813 points; Jessica Pegula (USA) - 6,423 points; Mirra Andreeva (Russia) - 5,163 points; Qinwen Zheng (China) - 4,803 points; Amanda Anisimova (USA) - 4,470 points; Madison Keys (USA) - 4,374 points; Jasmine Paolini (Italy) - 3,567 points; and Paula Badosa (Spain) - 3,454 points.
