Washington: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it began carrying out a third wave of military strikes against Iran tonight.
In a statement issued this evening, CENTCOM said its forces had launched additional strikes against Iran in accordance with the directives of US President Donald Trump.
It added that the strikes are intended to further degrade Iranian capabilities that threaten civilian mariners and commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
