Jeddah: Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held a meeting in Jeddah this evening to discuss the latest developments in the region. They stressed the importance of concerted efforts to stop the bloodshed of their people and protect their interests and gains as well as the fight against extremists and terrorist movements. Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, Secretary General of the GCC, said the ministers also reviewed a number of reports on the performance of GCC sub-committees, urging them to finish their work to implement Riyadh declaration within one week.
The ministers expressed profound denunciation of the brutal war crimes, aggression and the state-sponsored terrorism in Gaza Strip and absolute rejection of the Israeli justifications given in this regard.
