The participants at the International Youth Day organised by the Qatar Scientific Club.
DOHA: Qatar Scientific Club celebrated on Sunday the International Youth Day, which falls on August 12 each year.
The event featured a discussion session on safe space for young people and a focus on the role of the club in providing safe venues for young people to meet and engage in activities related to their diverse needs and interests, as well as taking part in decision-making process and freely express themselves stemming from our traditions and Islamic heritage that our young people cherish.
It is be noted that the first International Youth Day was celebrated on August 12, 2000.
