DOHA: A homeowner was killed on Thursday in Ain Khalid while he was trying to capture two thieves stealing valuables from his home, Al Sharq reported yesterday. A relative of the deceased told the daily that the man had gone out for some work, and when he returned at 8pm, he saw the thieves. When he tried to capture them, they overpowered him and continued to attack him with a knife and some sharp object until he died.
The report, which did not identify the victim, said one of the thieves had been arrested, while the other was at large, and investigation continued.
