The event will bring together regulators, financial institutions, investors and industry practitioners to discuss the future of Islamic finance and Qatar’s growing role as a regional Islamic finance hub.
The forum includes distinguished professionals and industry experts from seventeen organisations such as the Qatar Financial Centre, S&P Dow Jones Indices, Alchemist Doha, Saturna Malaysia, Power International Holding, Standard Chartered Saadiq and Dhofar Islamic.
A roundtable discussion on AlRayan Bank’s QR500m debut green Sukuk issuance, includes Akber Khan, Acting Chief Executive Officer of AlRayan Investment, and Tahir Hayat Pirzada, GM, Group Treasurer and Financial Institutions at AlRayan Bank. The session will explore the successful issuance, investor appetite for sustainable Islamic finance products and the growing importance of ESG-focused solutions within regional capital markets.
In two other sessions, industry experts will discuss the growth in Islamic banking, sukuk and asset management, including the adoption of fintech, digital platforms and tokenisation.
