DOHA: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has invited tenders worth QR700,000 for maintenance of major highways across the country. The projects include the Salwa, Dukhan and Shamal roads and Al Wakra- Mesaieed highway, in addition to the link roads and secondary roads connecting with these highways.
The tender also covers maintenance of the bridges and underpasses and disposal of sewage and improving traffic safety on these roads. Al Sharq reported yesterday.
As per the tender contract, all the jobs should be completed in 550 days.
