Emir exchanges Eid greetings 

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received yesterday a telephone call from H M Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman and they exchanged Eid Al Adha greetings.

The Emir also exchanged Eid  congratulations during a telephone call he received from the President of the UAE H H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Father Emir classroom opens

Amsterdam: King William Alexander of the Netherlands and Qatar’s Ambassador in The Hague Hamad bin Ali Al Henzab inaugurated a classroom named after the Father Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani at United World College, Maastrich.

PM hailed for pilgrims follow-up

Mina: The Minister of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs, H E Dr Ghaith bin Mubarak Al Kuwari, who is also head of the Qatari Haj  Mission, has praised the daily follow-up and care of pilgrims from Qatar and their situation, by the Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. 

A delegation from the office of the Prime Minister is accompanying the Haj Mission to  get updates on the situation of the pilgrims from Qatar to upgrade services provided to them from Qatar in the coming years.
