DOHA: Two popular animated shows, Smurfs and Ben 10, are being brought to The Gate Mall as part of Eid festivities organised by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA).
The American-Belgian animated comedy Smurfs will stage live shows on the first floor from tomorrow until October 20.
Show timings are 5.30pm, 7pm and 9pm.
The award winning cartoon series Ben 10 will perform from October 22 to 27 at 5.30pm, 7.30pm and 9pm.
The Smurfs were originally introduced as a series of characters by a comic artist, which later evolved into a TV franchise that was centred on a group of small blue fictional cartoons.
The series aims at positively impacting children by incorporating good values and morals into each episode.
Ben 10 is a popular cartoon network show that entertains children by entwining multiple stories with a science fiction concept.
Isabella Ibrahim, Marketing & PR representative of The Gate Mall, said: “Based on the successful turnout at the Barney and Friends show during last Ramadan, we are thrilled at the opportunity of collaborating with QTA to bring two of the most-liked shows in the cartoon industry to Qatar.
“The programme acts out two diverse storyboards, unravelling them in a colourful and creative way that gives parents and kids an experience to remember.
“The Gate Mall and QTA are happy to join in and add to the nation’s cultural celebrations, and will continue hosting animated entertainment shows in Qatar,” she added.
