Doha: ASTER, a division of DM Healthcare, a leading healthcare conglomerate in the Middle East and India, marked the World Heart Day, held globally on September 29, with an awareness drive at Ideal Indian School and Qatar UAE Exchange. 
Creating awareness about heart diseases and living healthy, the drive at Ideal Indian School was an interactive session. 
Focusing on ‘Stress in children and how to overcome it’, Dr Joy Ellen, General Practitioner at Aster Medical Centre at C Ring road, addressed about 75 students on measures to be taken and how to be risk free from heart diseases.
The activity at the exchange was also an interactive session with Dr Mathew V Kurian, Gastroenterologist at Aster Medical Centre at Hilal, speaking on ‘By passing Bypass surgery — by preventing a Heart Attack’.
