Doha: Ooredoo has awarded prizes to the winners of the ‘Live Like a Football Star’ SMS competition at its HQ2 building.
The competition challenged Ooredoo customers to test knowledge in a range of subjects by sending answers to daily questions via SMS over Ooredoo’s summer of sport campaign.
The contest, which was open to Hala and Shahry customers, gave users the chance to win amazing prizes, such as QR3,000 worth of gold daily, a new car weekly and the grand prize of QR500,000.
Entrants answered trivia questions via SMS to score points. Players with the most points scored at the end of the day, week and the competition won a prize. Sixty-two daily prizes of QR3,000 in gold have been awarded, alongside surprise prizes.
The 10 weekly prize winners received a brand new BMW 320, with Amjath Meppat Babu crowned the grand prize winner, receiving a cheque for QR500,000. The Peninsula
