Doha: The Advisory Council held its weekly session yesterday under the Chairmanship of the Speaker H E Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Kholeifi. Secretary General Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayarin read out the meeting’s agenda which has been approved.
The council approved the minutes of its previous session.
It reviewed a draft law amending some provisions of Law No. 19 of 2005 on practice of the engineering professions and decided to refer it to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee to study and submit a report to the council.
Meanwhile, the council’s Financial and Economic Affairs Committee held its 41st meeting chaired by rapporteur Mohamed Ajaj Al Kobeisi.
It discussed the draft budget of the Advisory Council for fiscal year 2013/2014 and decided to submit a report to the Advisory Council.
