Doha: The Zakat Fund said that it had provided medical aid worth QR9m last year which benefited about 500 cases.
In a press release yesterday, the Fund said the value of the assistance provided from January to December 2012 was QR8,860,681 with 497 beneficieries.
The aid was provided in coordination with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in regard to treatment at home as well as with the Supreme Council of Health in regard to cases requiring treatment abroad.
