Abu Samra likely to be coldest tonight

DOHA: Day temperatures could drop to 17 degrees Celsius in Al Ruwais today while in Doha, the night would be a bit chilly with the mercury dipping to 12 degrees.
The day, on the other hand, would likely be warmer in Doha with the mercury soaring to 22 degrees. 
According to the Weather Bureau, the coldest place in the country today would be Abu Samra, with the temperature dropping to 10 degrees at night. The day would be hotter with sunshine taking the mercury to 20 degrees here.
In Al Ruwais, the night wouldn’t likely be as cold as elsewhere in the country since the minimum temperature forecast for the place is 15 degrees.
Dukhan would witness day temperatures of up to 19 degrees whereas the night would be chilly, with mercury levels plummeting to 11 degrees. In Al Khor, the maximum temperature forecast is 21 degrees and the minimum 11. In Messaieed and Al Wakrah, temperatures would fall to 11 degrees tonight, while day temperatures would likely be 20 degrees.
The bureau has issued no warning for today and said visibility could be just three kilometres initially (in the morning) and would improve to four to eight km gradually.
The wind direction inland would initially be northwesterly and change to southwesterly later. Offshore, the wind direction would be northwesterly, with speed ranging up to 15 knots. Inland, the weather would overall be fine today, said the bureau. The Peninsula
