Servant falls from building
KARACHI: A 10-year-old was rushed to hospital with multiple injures after he allegedly fell off an apartment building late on Tuesday night.
The police have detained the young boy’s employer over suspicion that the boy was pushed from the building. The boy was employed as a domestic servant at a doctor’s residence in Clifton Block-5.
The boy’s family has accused the doctor of torturing him over petty issues and being a slave driver. Meanwhile, doctors at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre’s emergency department say the child does not carry any signs of torture and is out of danger.
