DOHA: International artistes will entertain guests at the Twenty-Four Funzone from tomorrow until February 1.
The Funzone beside Doha Golf Club is a huge pop-up big top dedicated to art, fun and sport.
On Saturday, Chico and The Gypsies will stage a word-class concert.
During the following days, Cirque Eloize, All Star Band, mentalist Frederic Sharp and other international artistes will entertain fans with music, circus, trial biking and magic shows.
A special concert by Kool & The Gang, the famous 1980s band, performing their brand of crazy funk will close the events.
Sport enthusiasts will enjoy daily sport highlights, activities and challenges like Speed Ball, Goal Wall, Pool Tables, and table football. There will also be video games.
Guests who would like a solo thrill will be invited to leap from a 40-metre-high platform with the Funzone’s onsite bungee jump.
Those wishing to share extreme experience with a friend can pair up to be thrown 35-metre through the air inside the reverse bungee.
And for those who prefer a more peaceful aerial view of Doha, a hot-air balloon ride could be the perfect option.
Back on the ground, visitors can also enjoy billiards and air hockey tables and admire the graffiti artist walls which will be set up outdoor.
All guests will be invited to share Funzone experiences with family and friends using funny photocalls or the ‘selfie wall’, connected to personal social media accounts, thanks to connected wristbands.
A wide range of food will be available at the venue.
Twenty-Four Funzone is open from 8pm to 2am everyday for those aged 18 and above. Entry fee is QR100 convertible to food and beverages.
