Baghdad: Iraq's Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein held a phone call on Thursday with his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
According to a statement, the two ministers exchanged views on efforts to reduce tensions in the region and on joint initiatives aimed at strengthening security and stability.
Both sides stressed the importance of supporting de-escalation initiatives, pursuing peaceful solutions and respecting international law, in a way that serves the shared interests of countries across the region.
