Doha: Doha Bank participated in a career fair organised by Education City featuring Qatar universities.
Hosted at Education City, the fair brought together campus students and employers to facilitate networking and employment opportunities.
Dr R Seetharaman, Group CEO of the bank, said, “As an organisation that has always taken the lead in creating rewarding career opportunities for Qatari talents, the bank is excited to have joined forces with Education City for the fair that provided us with the opportunity to access and connect with a large pool of qualified candidates and served to underline the wealth of talent we have in universities and colleges of Qatar.”
The bank received over 90 applicants interested in becoming part of its workforce.
“Doha Bank today is the first choice of candidates looking for exciting career opportunities among Qatari banks,” said Dr Seetharaman.
Bank representatives at the fair provided career consultation to graduate and undergraduate students.
Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar, Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar, Texas A&M University at Qatar, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar, Northwestern University in Qatar, HEC Paris in Qatar, and UCL Qatar also took part.
