Members of new ISC Managing Committee & Advisory Council
Doha: The Indian Sports Centre (ISC) has announced new Managing Committee & Advisory Council.
The council members are elected as officials of the Indian Sports Centre (ISC) in the online elections held on January 7, 2021 by the Embassy of India in Qatar.
Ambassador of India to Qatar, H E Dr. Deepak Mittal, is the Patron of ISC, and Capt. Mohan Atla Defense Attache, Embassy of India is the Coordinating Officer.In the ISC Managing Committee, Dr. Mohan Thomas, President of ISC is assigned Overall Co-ordinator; Sheji Valiyakath, Vice President of ISC is assigned Membership, Premises development & sponsorship, Qatar Shooting; T S Sreenivas, General Secretary for Primary: Tennis; Secondary : Cricket, School Games; Rukkaiya Pachisa, Head of Finance is assigned Primary: Golf; Secondary: Ladies Games, Trekking; Rajesh Kannan, Joint Secretary is assigned Primary: Yoga and Fitness; Secondary: Water Sports, Swimming.
In the ISC Managing Committee, John DeSa, Head is assigned Primary: Football; Secondary: Hockey & Carrom; Yawar Ali, Head is assigned Primary: Volleyball; Secondary: Basketball; Safeeru Rahman, Head for Primary: Badminton; Secondary: Football, Squash, Tug of War & Arm Wrestling; Varkey Boban, Head is assigned Primary: Table Tennis; Secondary: Badminton, Chess; Anil Boloor is assigned Head for Primary: Throwball; Secondary: Cricket, Cycling and Shivani, Head is assigned Primary: Cricket; Secondary: School Games.
