Kuwait: Amir of the State of Kuwait H.H. Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, on the occasion of his official visit to Kuwait.
During the meeting, H.H. the Amir extended his congratulations to H.E. Sheikh Joaan on his election as President of the Olympic Council of Asia, affirming Kuwait’s full support for the relevant institutions and for the OCA in a manner that contributes to further strengthening and advancing the sports movement across the Asian continent.
H.E. Sheikh Joaan was also received by H.H. Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, who congratulated him on his election and wished him continued success in serving and elevating the Asian sports movement.
