Doha, Qatar: The General Directorate of Coasts and Border Security announced a boat auction through the Sooum app.
Interested individuals can place their bids from February 17, 2026, at 7am until February 19, 2026, at 7am.
The boats will be available for inspection at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Coasts and Border Security (Al Da'ayeen Base) on February 16, from 7am to 12pm. The Ministry also noted that the boats can be viewed through the app.
Steps to participate in auction:
- Open the Sooum app and click on 'Boats' on the home screen App
- Select the specific sale offer
- Click 'Pay Deposit Amount' to pay the security deposit
- Once the deposit is paid, choose the boat you wish to bid for
- Review the specifications and fill in the required details
- Enter your bid amount and confirm
- Click 'Done' once the bid has been successfully submitted
