Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index started the week lower on Sunday, slipping 15.54 points, or 0.13%, to 11,500 points at the start of trading, weighed down by declines in three sectors.
Market data showed gains in Transportation (+0.26%), Real Estate (+0.26%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.20%), and Industrials (+0.02%). However, losses were seen in Telecoms (-0.05%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.26%), and Insurance (-0.48%).
By 10am, trading turnover stood at QR 58.556 million, with 25.944 million shares exchanged in 3,114 transactions.
