Bus accident kills at least 7 Syrians in Aley town

BEIRUT: At least seven people died and 27 others injured when a bus with Syrian license plates that was carrying Syrian citizens on Friday morning overturned in the Aley town of Kahale, voice of Lebanon radio reported.

The report added that the bus was driving at a high speed, and that three children were among those injured. They have been taken to hospitals for medical attention.

The injured were taken to the Al-Iman Hospital, Hotel Dieu De France Hospital in Beirut’s Ashrafieh, the Levant hospital and the Lebanese Canadian hospital in Sin el Fil near Beirut.

Meanwhile, head of the Red Cross in Lebanon George Kettaneh told MTV channel that the medical team transferred 24 victims to nearby hospitals, including 8 to 10 people killed. (QNA)
