Doha: Mowasalat organised awareness campaigns as part the GCC Traffic Week which was held under the theme ‘Your Safety is our Goal’.
At its special centre at the venue, Mowasalat demonstrated its commitment to the highest level of protection for all people on the road.
It highlighted its activities and contributions as part of its role as the state’s official transport company concerned with growing world-class modes of transport.
Mowasalat aims to motivate the public to be careful at all times while driving.
Through its state-of-the-art equipment, the company provided a practical experience and participants got to know the difference between using and not using the seat belt.
Mowasalat also focused on training in transportation of dangerous goods, offered brochures and publications promoting traffic guidelines and information on its role in the traffic awareness campaign.
The company displayed its training tools, including awareness equipment such as the roll-over simulator, correct head positioning equipment and special glasses that warn motorists against vision obstacles.
