Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Emiri Decision No. 16 of 2015, appointing Mubarak Nasser Mubarak Al Khalifa as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia.

Doha: Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani met Crotian Minister of Justice Orsat Miljenic on the sidelines of the 13th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice and reviewed cooperation between the two countries and ways of strengthening it. The Premier also witnessed the signing of an MoU on cooperation in the legal field, signed by Minister of Justice H E Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr Al Mohannadi and Miljenic.
DOHA: Nigerian community leader O J Millar says he is not seeking another term as president of Nigerians In Diaspora (NIDO-Qatar), a community organisation scheduled to pick its office-bearers in an election soon. “I am not in the fray,” Millar said in response to a report that he was re-contesting.
