The company that had designed Dukhan road has been held responsible for engineering fault caused water logging there. Ashghal had set up a committee to find out the reason for water logging after rain. Based on the report of the special committee, the company had been asked to take the responsibility for error, Al Kuwari told Al Sharq in an interview.

The consultancies have been instructed to design the road according to the traffic plan for 30 to 50 years in a bid to cope with heavy traffic jams.
