DOHA: In line with this year’s International Museum Day (IMD) celebrations, Qatar Museums Authority (QMA) will hold a public conference tomorrow at the Museum of Islamic Art Auditorium.
The conference will highlight the theme of the celebration for this year: “Museums (memory + creativity) = social change”.
This year’s theme defines what a museum is today, highlighting the universal nature of museums and its positive influence on society. The conference will explore as well Qatar’s museums: the memories they hold, the creativity they inspire, and how they help chart a course for the future. The Peninsula
