Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAK Holding Group received the Ecosystems Innovation award at the 2017 Construction Business News Awards ceremony held at Grand Hyatt Hotel Doha.
The SAK Holding Group’s Chairman was honoured in recognition of his outstanding achievements geared towards serving the economy, and for launching initiatives that had a significant impact on the real estate sector, such as launching "Sharkena" initiative to support and develop the real estate market.
The awards ceremony was held recently under the patronage of Qatar Chamber of Commerce. Ahmed El Sayed, General Manager, SAK Trading & Contracting Company, accepted the ecosystems innovation award on behalf of SAK Holding Group from Muhammed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari, Vice-Chairman of Qatar Chamber.
A number of leading companies from Qatar and the region were also honoured at the ceremony. The event was also attended by a large crowd of real estate leaders, investors, businessmen and journalists and reporters.
Al Kuwari stressed the importance of the directives of the wise leadership of the Emir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. These guidelines marks the State’s efforts to build an endless network of projects to serve cities and all of Qatar, and boost economic and social advancement and uplifting of sustainability.
