Doha, Qatar: The Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has announced the launch of a series of lectures on the rulings of Hajj.
These will be held in various mosques across the country immediately after the evening (Isha) prayer.
The first lecture will be held on Saturday, May 17, at Sheikh Abdulaziz and Sheikha Noura Mosque (MS 1333) in Umm Salal Mohammed.
It will be delivered by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Abad, a preacher at the Ministry.
The second lecture is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, at Abdul Latif Mohammed Al-Musnad Mosque (MS 1181) in Al Khor, and will be delivered by Sheikh Younis Al-Shadhili.
The third and fourth lectures will take place simultaneously on Monday, May 19: One at Moura bint Ali bin Saud Al Thani Mosque (MS 221) in Al Luqtaifiya, by Dr. Sultan Al-Hashemi.
The other at Hessa bint Sultan Al-Suwaidi Mosque (MS 1000) in Al Aziziyah, by Dr. Turki Ubaid Al-Marri.
The fifth lecture will be held on Tuesday, May 20, at Mosque MS 1413 in Al Sheehaniya, presented by Dr. Hamad Saleh Al-Qamra.
The sixth lecture is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, at Qanbar Al-Ansari Mosque (MS 1209) in Al Wakrah, delivered by Sheikh Abdullah Mohammed Al-Nu’mah.
On Thursday, May 22, the seventh and eighth lectures will take place: One at Mosque M.S. 113 in New Al Rayyan, by Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Mahmoud.
The other at Saad bin Majid Al Saad Mosque (MS 46) in Al Maamoura, by Dr. Nawaf Al-Otaibi.
The Ministry has ensured that a designated area for women is provided in all mosques hosting these lessons on Hajj rulings.
