Khartoum: Chairman of the Darfur Regional Authority Dr Al Tijani Al Sisi has appreciated the role of the Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in supporting the Darfur peace process to fulfil its cherished targets. In a statement aired over Sudan radio yesterday, Al Sisi said the Darfur peace process has moved to advanced stages.

Doha: The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani yesterday received telephone calls from Arab League Secretary General Dr Nabil Al Araby and U S Secretary of State John Kerry. The current situation in the region with emphasis on the latest developments in Syria were discussed.
