ISLAMABAD: The government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Pakistan Muslim League-N has identified widely respected retired judge of the Supreme Court, Khalilur Rehman Ramday, for the governorship of the Punjab province, official sources said here yesterday.
The sources also said that Federal Tax Ombudsman Shoaib Suddle is leading the contenders for the job of the Pakistani National Accountability Bureau chief. Under the constitution, the premier is bound to consult the opposition leader on the appointment of the bureau chief.
