Doha: Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia H E Nikol Pashinyan and his accompanying delegation visited yesterday the National Museum of Qatar as part of their visit to the country.
The Prime Minister of Armenia was received by Director of National Museum of Qatar Sheikha Amna bint Abdulaziz Al Thani, as he toured the museum’s halls and reviewed its collections.
The guest and the delegation visited the various galleries, which include the beginnings of the geological development of the Qatar peninsula, its natural environments, the monuments and rock inscriptions in archaeological sites, the life of the people of Qatar on land and coasts, and the digital exhibition.
Also, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia was briefed on the most important pieces and collectibles related to pearls and jewellery design, in addition to the galleries of modern Qatari history since the discovery of oil and gas.
