Doha, Qatar: The Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center concluded its Qur’an Study Programme, which was organised for the Indonesian community in coordination with the community’s preachers who collaborate with the Center. The event was attended by 650 participants, including a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and several representatives of the Indonesian community.
The attendees expressed their sincere appreciation to the Center for its excellent organization of community activities and its continuous efforts to address the needs of the Indonesian community.
The event featured Qur’an recitation, speeches by preachers and community representatives, and an awards ceremony honouring participating students and outstanding achievers. The programme is considered one of the Center’s most successful initiatives. It began in August 2025 and included Qur’an education as well as a variety of Islamic studies and religious lessons.
The programmes offered to the Indonesian community are distinguished by their diversity, comprehensiveness, strong organization, and high level of participation. The Center continues to strive to meet the community’s needs through a balanced, moderate, and inclusive approach.
