DOHA: The Youth Company (TYC) and the UAE’s Arab Youth Venture Foundation (AYVF) yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further their strategic partnership and youth-targeted initiatives that began earlier this year in Doha.

TYC targets 15- to 25-year-olds in areas of leadership empowerment and sports training while AYVF works with youth ages six to 26 in areas of science, technology and civics.

The new agreement between the two not-for-profit youth focused organisations is effective immediately and extends all necessary support between the two entities to further foster collaborative programme delivery in the Mena region.

The agreement also lays the foundation for future development in areas on Model United Nations and other synergistic youth leadership endeavours.

As part of the partnership agreement, AYVF will support on the ground TYC’s UAE launch of its widely popular and invitation only “Youth Change Everything” conference focused on motivational leadership and career development for rising talent in local markets.

“The Youth Company’s objective is to empower and develop youth throughout the Middle East and North Africa region,” said TYC CEO Aya Abu Issa.
